+101 - Vote for the best Twitter Applications

We had a busy day yesterday getting 101 Best Twitter Apps ready for launch and updating the site with the top applications we could find. It’s not a bad start: 42 apps in one day but if there’s an app or widget we’ve missed that you love to use please register and submit it.

Over the next few days we’ll be refining and adding more details to the site so if you have any comments or suggestions please let us know. In particular we’re not sure of the cateogries and topic names so if there’s something missing or not quite right we’re happy to change them.

Finally, 101 Best Twitter Apps is just the latest of our growing group of 101 Best sites. It all started with an idea to create a website in a weekend in Summer 2008. That idea became 101 Best Websites which still isn’t entirely finished and is waiting to be updated with the current code! 101 Best Websites is a showcase gallery of the best in design, CSS and Flash websites, it has grown to be one of the top CSS galleries with well over 100,000 pageviews every month. The success of 101 Best Websites inspired us to move into other areas and applications seemed to be the obvious choice to us geeks!
